Default How do I know if I have an anti-theft disabling device?

I bought my 95 1500 4X4 used about 4 years ago, but never found out if it had an anti-theft disabling device in it. Now that the power will intermitently totally cut off (even while driving down the road), I'm wondering if that's my problem. I've checked all electrical connections for battery, starter, fuse boxes, etc., to no avail. I never know when it will just shut down. Not just the engine, but ALL power - lights, dash, windows, engine - even the little door buzzer.

So, How would I know if this may be the problem? Any ideas?

Thanks.
