Loud Noise when Starting - Only in major heat
I noticed this issue last summer, then it went away. Now it's back. About every 4 times I start my Burb up, I hear the AC kick on and it starts making a major racket. I quickly turn it off and then back on again and it usually goes away. I'm thinking it's either the compressor or the blower wobbling around in it's housing. It makes a heck of a racket. I've been trying to check if the air is blowing when it happens (could help me narrow it down) but haven't been able to catch it since sometimes I remote start and have to shut it off.
Anyone experience this and if it is the blower is it easy to swap out?
Thanks

That sound is likely "slugging" its because oil/liquid freon settle in the compressor since it low mounted in the vehicle... the OEM compressor is supposed to have something built into it to help reduce/prevent the slugging.... the sound is caused by the compressor trying to compress the liquid... something its not supposed to do...
