Default 2002 Tahoe issues

At one point my 2002 Tahoe had a wet floor board. I cleaned it out and checked if anything was rusted out, which it wasn’t. Didn’t see an issue for awhile, then I have recently been dealing with a lot of heat coming up from the driver side that sometimes gets really hot. Also my car died in reverse and I have no clue what could have caused it. Please help.

Do the dollar test on all your doors and windows. If you can shut the door/window and still slide the dollar: it is enough to get your floor wet. All the seals including the bottom ones and the fuzzy ones the window slides on.

The hole on your hood lets air in for the cabin air fan. They usually are designed so they can never leak - but not on all cars.

What I'd do at the dealer? Get a hose start spraying. See where the water gets in.

well, that's not related to a water leak

If when you cleaned the white rag looked yellow, we'd all assume you knew it wasn't water wetness, and that your heater hose has a leak.

heater hoses coming loose can leak. usually that will be in the engine compartment on the firewall and have no chance venting heat and water in the cabin. perhaps on your model it's inside the cabin, leaked a little, and you had 0 water in the hose after and hot engine air came in the cabin. or perhaps the heat was from the heater core heating up - or perhaps you have floor vents and those were blowing heat though you didn't realize the floor vents were active

how's your radiator fluid level? it's 50% 50% specific gravity and not loosing fluid right?

and your trans went out in reverse? ugh. you need to post different questions in differnt posts.
