Need Help please Erica/GM/Chevrolet...
So Erica,
Were you able to get anywhere?
I could not get a hold of my service adviser on the phone so I went in again.
My adviser was not available, but another guy saw some paperwork of mine.
He said that GM says they will pay for additional cost to repair after i pay an additional $2,500, I already approved $80 inspection, then $600 more for tear down. I asked for any of this promise from GM in writing and he refused.
He finally gave me a parts list of what it needs, and a little description of what is wrong. Then he said this was a different problem and not related to the oil not staying in my motor like they have been trying to fix multiple times.
I am very confused about why they are not covering all of it, being as this is related to the same issue they have been trying to fix for more then 2 years now. When they changed the pistons and rings, I am sure they pulled the oil pan and put new in. But how could they inspect and determine what all needed to be fixed. They did not do any machine work at all.
I let them know at my first oil change after that it was low and they said maybe it was not filled right. Then at the next one notified again and they said bring it in for the next oil change. I did and reminded them It was on the oil log, and had it on passengers seat. IT WAS NOT RECORDED conveniently.
This was well within the 12m/12k miles someone had mentioned might be the warranty after pistons were done. Also it still didn't fix the oil consumption problem.
I NEED some help from someone.. I am hoping that my lawyer does not have to help me to get GM to do the right thing.
What have you determined Erica?
Or who should I contact as a last resort before my lawyer?
Please e-mail me asap.
Thanks in advance.

Just wondering. I got a private message from Nicki and she said she was going to get back to me about a week ago have tried to private message her again after for an update. There has been no response. Is there someone else you would recommend to contact about this. I hate to turn to lawyers, but it seems that I don't have much option as of now.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter.

Hey Peter,
I responded to your message today. I have not seen one since we spoke on the phone. I am not sure if it is our inbox. I did delete some old messages to make space. Look forward to hearing from you.

the simple solution is to change oil where you can "top off fluids" anytime between oil changes. and get some marvel mystery oil (yes, i'm serious) and add to the oil. also use high detergent oil for high mileage. that all assumes you aren't leaking oil from gaskets, etc.
