need inner door diagram for 94-99 tahoe 2 door
anyone have a diagram for the inner door workings of a 94-99 tahoe 2 door? my door wont open with the inside door release and i'm having to wind the window and use the outer release to open it. i'de like to see whats going on in there before i remove the panel and fix it. mainly i'de like to know if the rod that connects the inner release handle to the release mechanism is adjustable or if i have to bend it. also like to see how the inner door panel gets removed (basically where all the clips are) to minimize my breaking anything once i start prying it off.

thanks brother. they're a little tough to read but at least i have a decent idea of whats going on in there now. looks like there are 2 rods that work off of that inner door release handle. i was gonna try doing this through the black access panel on the end of the door and not remove the entire door panel but after seeing your diagram i think i'm gonna have to just bite the bullet and remove the darn thing. hopefully nothing is broke in there and i can just adjust or bend the connecting rods and fix it. thanks again for the pics. they did help.

after zooming in on the pics, looks like the bottom rod is the lock control and the top one is the door release. also appears to have a huge access hole once the panel is removed so this should be pretty easy.

just to close this thread, you do not have to remove the door panel to do this. the 3"x7" plastic panel on the outer end of the door is all the access you need. just remove it and get in there with a 12" pair of hose end pliers and grab the rod and bend it a little. worked like a charm.
