Default New Fuse Box for Windshield Wipers not working

Argh!!

I'm desperate for a little help.

The windshield wipers on my 2007 Tahoe LTZ stopped working yesterday morning. My local Firestone dealer said I'd have to take it into the dealership for diagnostics. The dealership is telling me today that the (underhood) Fuse Box needs to be replaced which will run me $910.00. The only other issue I could relay to a "Bad" fuse box is my rear DC power outlet doesn't work.

Would other electrical items not work if my Fuse Box was bad?

Does this sound reasonable?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Default wipers

I think for $910 I'd tell the dealer what they could wipe...

Take it to another place, get another quote.
