Hi Guys. I have a question about the rain sensing wipers on my 07 Tahoe. I would like to put a small vinyl decal on the top of the front windshield. Will this interfere with the rain sensing wipers? How do the rain sensing wipers actually work and sense? Please advise.

There is a round plastic Moisture Sensing Lens near the rear-view mirror mount on the windshield, so long as you do not cover this lens you will be OK.

the sensors work be reflecting light, through glass it reflects straight..throught water it reflects in different directons, as water dropslets build up on the window the sensor detects the difference in the light and row it reflects, this turns the wipers on...basic princlple, I would think as long as you dont block the loght from passing through it would be ok, however I dont know what the reflection will be like through a plastic decal.
