Default Stuck Oil Gauge

I have a 95 Tahoe with 172k mile, still runs great. Last weekend the oil pressure gauge started moving from approx 10 to 22 psi while driving a steady 65mph. Changed the oil sending unit & when I turned the key on the oil gauge pegged way over at the 3 oclock position. Disconnected the sending unit and the needle stayed, still pegged past the max. How do I get it back? The needle does not move when starting the engine or driving.

Disregard, AZ sold me the wrong oil sending unit. Just because the COMPUTER says it's the right part, that don't make it right. Lesson learned. I am back on the road. When in doubt find a dealer that has books you can reference part #'s to. Now ya'll get back to work.
