Default K1500 Caster/Camber cams

Bought new tires at Les Schwab for '94 K1500. Had them do an alignment but they said they couldn't do a complete job since the stock camber/caster cogs wouldn't allow enough adjustment to get it right. So they said they could replace the cogs with newer improved ones, never heard of this before, this true?

I never had to do one but iirc...there are knockouts that are removed and eccentric bolts installed. 1999 and newer came with the eccentrics from factory.

Thanks, good to know they ain't pullin my leg.

(My Burb happens to be a GMC, do I have to leave now)?

All my other current vehicles are Chevys, including a 1965 Chevy Van I've had since 1970 and has been pulling my travel trailers with a 292 for the past 26 years. The Burb is replacing it cause the van has no A/C.

Thanks. Just wondering if you noticed that the picture by your name is not a Chevy?

Now I'm really confused, I joined a bunch of vehicular forums yesterday, but I don't remember joining a Dodge one. (Do like Dodges though) (at least it's not a ford)

Set the TOW-IN/CENTER STEERING WHEEL, and drive it. Camber is probably a little high which is ok. That's not uncommon in the tire business, good $$$ for them. JMHO.
