Question New Here...

First of all, GREAT SITE! I just got my pre-approval letter from my credit union so I will purchasing an 07 burb in the near future since my 99 expys tranny bit the dust. Already got one picked out but the owner is out of town till Monday. I came across this site just doing some research and can't believe how much info is here. My question is anybody here running 28s on their Burb/Tahoe? If so, have you had any issues? I have three kids and was thinkin about it but if I have to lift, I may go for a smaller wheel size? Thanks in advance.

Oh, the car in my sig is my 68 396 Chevy Caprice

not a big fan of rims that big...at all. I have seen a few with big rims but I think you will have to lift it and will have rubbing issues, so may need to trim the wheel well.
good luck

While there is plenty of wheel well, I'd bet you will have to lift it and you will have rubbing issues (depending on width of course)

Welcome to the forum.

Even 24s can cause some rubbing issues. I can't imagine the 28s would work w/o a serious lift. Not to mention a brake upgrade and rougher ride.
