Default 'storage'

it's where the motor for the power rear lift gate lives... if you don't have that option I think you get an empty space instead... i never though of myself as a power rear lift gate kinda guy... but it came on the LTZ, and man do I love it...

I stuffed my tow strap, a dog leash and trailer plug there. No room for anything else.
The truck could use a few more cubby holes for stuff.

Yeah, I have the power liftgate options, so I guess this small hatch with TWO ***** to keep it closed is the space thats left over. As everyone has mentioned here before, this truck is so limited on storage space for its size. I can't seem to hide anything. I'm thinking of buying some sort of interior box and installing it in the rear.

I got one of these. It is not the best, but it gives me a place to keep a jug of wiper juice, some tie downs and a draw bar.

Are you guys saying that a NBS w/ power liftgate has an accessible storage on the left rear corner? Not the jack storage under the cup holder.

Yep, twin togggles in the rear cargo area. Maybe 1.5 cf of room. Stuffed a 30' tow strap w/hooks, leash, & pin adapter and no room left over.
Like stuffing closet and shutting the door really quick so it won't expode open.

Default storage

I took out the 3rd row and built a 'box' for the back, kinda like a pickup truck bed out of wood + covered in black automotive carpet. It levels the floor and keeps junk in the trunk!

I missed the fact that they had a 'Burb. That's why they have a cubby for storage.
