Default Transmission Temp guage

I have an 03 Z71 Suburban that I will be towing an RV with. Any aftermarket transmission temp gauge kit recommendations?

Im really new to the GM800. But I have a lot of experience with other cars. Im not sure if this helps, but in other vehicles I have owned that came with optional gauges I have found installing the cluster with that option tends to unlock it. In my case however I have an 02 Burban that came with the trans temp. Its the Alison tranny. Im not sure if you dont have my set up that this will work. There is an aftermarket gauge for almost everything these days and you can run everything custom. Its also possible as I stated at the beginning that these protocols exist already and you may access them via new gauge cluster or you can also get an aftermarket obd 2 reader (I use Torque on my android) And you would be amazed at the readings you can get for all sorts of stuff going on with your truck Live. Then just mount your smartphone or tab and have it give you live data via digital gauges.

When I started towing with my '01, I just went onto eBay and bought an HD cluster. The trucks are prewired for the trans temp, so the cluster was plug and play, and I now had an operating temp gauge. Not sure how easy it would be to find one now, but that's my best suggestion.

If I knew what type sensor it has, RTD, thermocouple, probably rtd, I could just get a matching gauge to it.

The person/company that I bought it from programmed it to the mileage I told them.

Ebay has send in your instrument panel for an upgrade/fixed. Think that's what I will do, again, thanks!
