Default GMT800 Suburban 5.3 Randomly shuts off at stop

I have a 2002 Suburban with a 5.3 that will randomly, and I mean randomly like 2 times a year will just shut off at a stop. I’ll turn the key and it starts right up. Then I let it sit in my driveway on idle for it to shut down again and it won’t. I’ve noticed that right before shutting down, the heat gauge goes all the way to the right. Looks like it’s over heating. Then it will jump back to normal. Shut off. And my battery light comes on. I replaced the fans with E fans. And have replaced all the cooling system parts. I’ve had these parts in there for about 5 years now. Everything has been fine. But now when it’s a hot summer day it will randomly shut off. Happened today but it’s odd because it’s not hot out. So now I’m wondering if it sounds like an electrical problem or a bad fuel pump? Any one with any experiences like this before?
