02 Tracker Heater Case/Cover Replacement
Hi all.
Just got my 02 Tracker (2 L) on the road.
Got the AC working for about an hour then the compressor went.
Turned the heater/ac blower motor on and there's obviously a mouse nest in the ductwork
Thought I got rid of it all by taking off all the vent air deflectors and sliding the control back and forth from floor to defrost several times with the blower running full blast.
It was raining one night and the windows started fogging up. Turned it to defrost and the passenger's side windshield was the only side to clear. The nest material must be really packed in!
I've got the glove box out and all the screws (+2 nuts) out of the Heater Case (on the left of the heater core). I just can't drop the case. Do I need to remove the metal cross bar directly under where the glove box sits?
Any quick suggestions would really be appreciated!
Thanks,
Ross
