2000 Chevy Tracker Hardtop AC button stuck ON
Hello all!
This is my first and hopefully only post here!
I am having trouble with a recently (yesterday) purchased 2000 Chevy Tracker.
I was cleaning the interior with wipes and I wiped down the buttons on the dash, one being the AC button. Before this the heat was working fine, but afterwards whenever we turn the heat up all the way the AC light comes on.
Obviously we tried to press the button so that it would pop back out, and it does, but the light stays on. Once we bring the heat down a bit the light goes off but still cold air.
Any ideas? My boyfriend is a mechanic but I wanted to see if I could find out any info before he has to take anything apart.
