Default Knocking feeling on right passenger side only when backing with wheel turned

Hi, I have a 2000 Chevy Tracker that has been 110% very well maintained. In the last few months when I back out ONLY turning the wheel to the right there was a thump thump thump feeling. No noise ever and the car does NOT do it any other time what so ever. I rotated the tire to the back to see if it was possibly the tire itself or the bands in it that has been broken and the problem completely stopped. My tires are brand new also.
The last few weeks the feeling is back again with the new tire now on the right front passenger side. I don't think it is the tire as I didn't think it was before but something on the car itself. Any cheap solutions I can check before I have to possibly fix something serious?
