I am also new to this forum, I have a '08 Trailblazer LT 4wd 90k miles, I have been recently experiencing a slight power loss problem while towing a cargo trailer @ 60+ mph. This vehicle has towed all it's life without issue, in the past it was a 6x12 1600lbs (including equipment) cargo trailer with full height headroom with a bow front. My new trailer is a 6x14 1400lbs (including equipment) full height with a v front. The new one is an all aluminum trailer hence the weight drop. The manufacturer states via proven fact that the v front will increase mileage aprox. 20%, so would have expected reduced pulling friction, which is very noticeable at take off and low speed. I notice this problem mainly on hill climb and a little on flats with wind issues.Any ideas as to what I need to look for as the culprit?
