Bubbles in bow tie chevy emblem
I just bought a 2008 Trailblazer with relatively low mileage (24k) and it is really "like new" in every way but one. The Chevy emblem on the front grill has bubbles in the gold part. Should I have this replaced under warranty, or will the replacement do the same thing?

Since the bowtie was defective, and out of curiosity, I took it off. There were no screws, bolts or clips holding it on, only double sided adhesive. By gently prying the bottom edge up with a plastic tool, I then inserted a flat metal ruler which cut through the adhesive. After several minutes of work, the whole piece was free. Thankfully, I didn't have to remove any of the grill at all.

Mine bubbled too both front and back and the back one actually faded to silver and the bubbles smoothed out. Now the back one on the tailgate looks like chrome and I like it better than the gold. The front one is still gold and bubbled, it doesn't bother me so I'm hoping it fades to silver too.
