Default Connecting to radio AUX port

I have a 2002 Trailblazer LS with factory radio. On the same button that activates the CD, it also says "AUX". I'm assuming that this is to activate some sort of auxilarry music source. I'm trying to find a way to use my iPod without an FM modulator. Does anyone know if this AUX button controls a 3.5 mm jack or something similar that may be dangling somewhere behind the radio, waiting for me to find?

Thanks for any help!

Don't hold your breath.
All the connectors are non audio standard and are for those audio options available from Delco ( or other suppliers ) for GM... example CD stacker.

Default AUX port addition recommendation solution

crutchfield.com has AUX harness adapters for GM at http://www.crutchfield.com/S-NLGTl7j...lblazer+fm+aux

i'd bet you could shop around for pricing, but this is the best way to get your mp3 working with the car.

FM transmitters are legally too weak. (FCC won't let them get above a level). besides...you want 128bit or better sound and FM is ugly with all those wires and connectors sitting on the seat.

the aux port can connect to your velcroed mp3 player on the dash which can be pulled for security on demand.
