low oil pressure
I have a 2003 trailblazer with the I-6 engine. Three weeks ago I noticed the oil pressure drop and the idle slow down when i stopped. Pressure stays up and engine runs ok at town and highway speeds. Changed oil and filter, didn't help. Any ideas before I change the oil pump?

Welcome to the forum.
Specification says the oil pressure should be 12 psi @ 1200 RPM. Oil pressure will go down with the engine speed. You may not have a problem other than the idle speed anomaly.

The idle speed is not manually adjustable. It may go lower than normal if you happend to have the A/C on (will run automatically with defog or recirc setting) or something with a heavy electrical load. If it bothers you, consider getting it serviced.
