Default New battery, still won't start...

The starter is turning, sounds kinda like the engine is as well, but it's turning slowly and won't crank. Is this a starter issue or related to my transmission woes (suddenly and completely failed with no warning lights)?

Could be the battery needs a good charge or a case of loose or corroded battery cables. They need to be checked at both ends.

New battery. It's literally not even 2 weeks old from the date of manufacture. This starting issue is also very sudden. The day the transmission failed and the tow truck dropped it off in my driveway, it wouldn't start, same symptoms.

What ever would they have done that for? He put it in neutral, never had any opportunity to access either fuse block (one in the engine compartment, one under the rear driver side seat).
