Anyone else experience this? Just in the last few weeks my '08 Cargo van has been losing fuel economy and the engine feels and sounds rougher and noiser most noticeable above 4000 rpm. I almost thought it was an exhaust leak it gets so nosy but it's definitely induction/intake related and I have a recent oil change, fresh air filter and the engine doesn't seem to miss or hesitate. Plugs and wires have about 70k on them.

I don't have a shop manual for this van but I did come across a GM TSB for a possible malfunction with the variable intake manifold and power valve. Don't have any time to drop the van off during the week anytime soon since I use it for work but will probably have to as soon as I get time.

Also I need to go ahead and find a good code scanner/diagnostic tool. I'm familiar with imports but will have to do some research on GM scan tools.
