satellite radio???
A couple weeks ago I was at a local salvage yard and they had the XM Sky3fi satellite radio from a wrecked car.It has a sd slot for mp3s , with the docking station and plug in power supply, all for $5.00. I put it in the wife's car with 1 gig of songs on the sd card. Suddenly a month later I turn it on and bada bind bada boom it's playing xm ch 25, i check further and every thing is there. So that myth about satellite radios reactivating themselves after being deactivated seems true. Just had to share this and know what it has the NFL &NASCAR channels too.

What the luck! No these don't activate themselves. Sounds like whomever had that car before has it on automatic subscription renewal. In an open area i.e parking lot that to activate ($$$) will do it. Your xm will have a radio "name" BXL, or NBMXXXXX. I'd suspect the original owner will figure that out when they get the bill.
