Adding factory options
I have a basic 2004 venture short van. bare bones, no CD. basic seats.
I have been seeing a lot of these in the junk yards. So what parts
can i swap in? Saw a nice pair of leather front seats out of a 2003
silhouette. I know i can bolt them in. but what about the power?
are the power seat connects there even if it did not come with
the car? How is the heated seat controlled?
What about power rear vent windows?
Heated mirrors?

Adding factory options
Hi.
My 2003 came with AM/FM/cassette/CD, but it was only single-disc CD. So I purchased a 6-disc CD changer on eBay & installed it myself. Only issue was that I had to pay dealer to go into computer & tell it that it was ok to let me use the new unit, 'cause it thought it was stolen (built-in theft protection).
My 2000 Venture had the underseat drawer for the passenger side, & 2003 didn't come with one, but I found that the mounting holes were present in 2003, so I simply removed it from my wrecked 2000 & fastened it in my 2003.
My 2003 doesn't come with locking glovebox door, but my 2000 did, so I may transfer that over.
My 2000 came with height adjustable driver's seat (non-power) but PITA **** for reclining the seat back. The 2003 has nice lever reclining but no height adjustment. Have thought of transferring 2000 seat base over but not totally sure about air bag compatibility between the years, so have held off, for now.
My 2000's rear seats were adjustable front to back, whereas 2003 is fixed position. I've put my 2000's seats in my 2003, so I can shift those seats forward to fit more groceries or stuff in.

All your power seats, and mirrors can be swapped, but not easily, your van will not have the wiring in place to do the swap easily. You will need to swap all the wiring, switches, bezels, and related parts to swap. Not worth the time to do so imo.
