P0705 problems

P0705 problems
the trans is hitting hard while driving' kinda like you hit a pot hole. and some times it gets to hitting so bad it will kill the engine.
the p0705 is the only code stored
actions taken:

i have replaced the range switch and the PCM.
i checked Continuity on the PABC wires between the range switch and the PCM and none of them are broken all have Continuity.
with my scan tool it is showing the current gear to be stuck in 3rd gear no matter what gear i put it in.
also the gear selector position values are not matching up with my scanner
like PARK is showing xoxx when it should be ooxx
i have ordered another range switch and will install it tomorrow if this does not work i dont know what else to do.
