Hello all,

The dome light on my Venture will not turn off as if the door was open, but the door ajar light does not come on the dash unless I open the door.

The key chime also sounds when I shut off the engine, but with the door closed, until I remove it from the ignition.

I appreciate any help you can offer

There is a switch that manually turns on the dome light either at the light itself or on the dash. This may be in the on position or it may be faulty.

Yes, but that wouldn't affect the key chime.

Check the drivers side door switch.

Where is that located? Also, it seems to be working fine as the door ajar light on the dash turns on as it should.
