Variance on Tire Size for 2000 Venture?
Hi.
THe specs for my van say that I need a set of P215/70R15 97S. I just tried a set of P215/65R15 97S and they didn't fit at all.
Is there any variance I can look for that will work? WHat is my range at, or am i forced to stick with the spec size?
Thanks!

The 215/65/15 's should work, and fit just fine, it's just a slightly shorter tire. 225/70/15 will work as well, they are a bit wider, and taller. Tire dealer/installers may not install them though, as they are not the factory size.
If that's the case, just bring the tires/wheels in loose and have them mounted and balanced.
