1992 1500 wont idol
 

I have a 92 1500 with a 4.3 garage keeped to took it out it started fine went for ride came back turned off when was ready to park it back in the garage truck would run unless I floored it and wouldn't idol can anyone let me know I was told maybe there was water in the gas tank not sure?

Any ideas anyone ?

I can hear the sound of the pump and here trickle sounds like water not like pressure I'm thinking the the fuel is draining back into the tank anyone have happen to them?

Pull the fuel line off the back of the inline fuel filter. Turn the key to run. You should get a steady flow of fuel coming out.
If not, the pump, sock filter, or sending unit has an issue. All pretty common on these trucks.
