Default 1992 C1500 fuel pump/relay HELP NEEDED

Hello, Friends! Just replaced defective Fuel Pump this past Thursday.
This morning the whole truck quit cold returning ftom an errand, 100 feet
From my house. Got it into the driveway. A neighbor who helped me
And knows Chevies, told me that he could NOT hear the Fuel Pump running
With the ignition on. He suggested I check the Fuel Pump Relay on the Firewall.
Located it, removed it and got an exact replacement from my AutoZone shop,
Replaced it and checked all fuses. Still does not start.

Now, I'm not one who knows anything about ECMs. The fuse for that is OK.
In fact, ALL fuses are good. Could I have a bad ignition coil? Not sure.
In fact, when I replaced the plugs and wires last Fall, i'm not sure WHERE
the coil is.

Hope someone can help me out!

Thanks, Sandy

Pull the fuel line off at the engine, key one see if there is fuel, if so, then proceed with ignition.

Wink

I agree with Kevin, you may still have a problem at your pump. Been there and now have an access panel in my bed floor.
