Brake help needed
 

Hey guys new to the forum and just picked up a 1988 Chevrolet 3500 single wheel. I've noticed when I use the brakes, the pedal almost goes to the floor before they start working and they are very spongy. The brake light on the dash is also on. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? The previous owner did tell me that the brakes had been done about 6000 miles ago. Thanks in advance guys

Have you driven it enough to know if the fluid level is going down?

No I don't think the fluid is going down
