Heater/AC Blower Switch

When i turn on the blower switch for the AC or heat in my 1996 Chevy Truck, the blower will only work on the highest setting. None of the other settings on the switch work. Is the switch bad or is it something else? Help!

20 year old pickup. Resistor or swicth bad. Not hard to repair.

Did you end up getting it working properly? I found a pretty decent video on youtube on how to replace the ac switch if you want the link.

It's done by 1A auto parts, just ignore the advertising for them. Henry is right - pretty straightforward. I have yet to find a similarly straightforward video for the resistor, but I'm pretty sure it's located underneath the glove box of the truck (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong everyone).

On a side note, is there one way or another to test the switch/resistor?
