Power Door Locks

The power door lock button on my 1996 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab do not work on the driver or passenger side from inside the truck. They do lock and unlock both doors with the remote. What could the problem be?

Most likely the switch on the drivers door is bad.

would that cause both drivers side and passenger side interior door lock switches to not work?
