Default Trying to separate the trn and stop light food in UK

Hi guys, I am wiring up the tow bar to UK spec but US wiring only has four wire feed t rear lights and trailer plug. Black ground, yellow left turn, do green right turn, brown tail lights and light green reverse. Stop light food comes down turn signal wire but looking at where I can tap into this to run separate feed for stop lights, thinking of up around the brake light switch, any thoughts?

Not sure if trailers in the UK use electric brakes, but if so you could install a controller and tap into the wire that sends power to the trailer brakes.

I'm sure the brake light switch will work if you don't need trailer brakes. Not sure how much of a load you can put on that wire though.

No we don't use electric brakes in UK. Which wire feeds electric brakes, only need it to run 4 x 21watt bulbs.

You can tap into the feed for the third brake light.

It's been a white wire under the steering column on the ones I've wired up.

By third brake light you mean the one on the cab roof, what a good idea, thanks.
