2002 2500 HD transfer case help!!!!
 

Hey guys I'm new here and have been having an issue with getting the right parts for my NP263 HD transfer case.
the issue I'm having is the range fork i ordered from rock auto is for the up dated hub gear . so i ordered one from GM parts direct and when i went to install it on the hub gear it wouldn't fix the plastic pads wont allow it to fit, so i gave it a bit of force and bang the plastic pads broke.

So my question is has anyone else had this problem and if so whats the fix or what all do i need to do the upgrade?
