How to identify part number for ABS control module.
 

I have a bad ABS control module. I see Dorman and AC delco both have available options. How do identify or research the part number for the ABS control module of my a truck?

I'm confused what you're asking. you have all the information you need. from what i see the only two options are dependent on the tractions control or luxury package. since you're no for both it means you need the controller for the non abs one. the Dorman number is 599-705.not sure about the ac delco

Open the glove box and look at the RPO sticker on affixed to the inside of the door. Make sure your Silverado does not have the NW7 code (for traction control option) or the Y91 code (for the luxury edition package). If both are NOT present then you need the Dorman 499-705 ABS unit like Irish_alley said. If you have the NW7 code then you need the Dorman 599-706 (remanufactured) or the Dorman 599-864 (new) ABS unit. Finally, if you have the Y91 code, you will need the Dorman 1210-213 ABS unit. About the RPO sticker in the glove compartment, this is 100% correct advice. In Silverados of those years, this is generally the only way to understand exactly what was stuffed there at the factory, because you can easily make a mistake based on the description of the equipment.
