Intermittent Vibration when Braking

I have a 2007 Silverado Classic. (posted here since this is mechanically closer to the 2006 and earlier models)

164k on stock 5.3L engine. Truck is 2WD with the Locking Differential

On some occasions, when I brake I can feel some vibration in the vehicle. I had replaced the front brakes and pads a few years ago (Brembo components) and have checked run-out of the rotors with no sign of warpage. Front wheel hubs were replaced with Moog about three years ago also.

I would think if it was a rotor/braking issue, the vibration/shuddering would be more consistent.

Thanks for any help as I am stumped on this one.

A lot can happen in a few years. Check to see if your rotors are glazed. Also check the pads,

Update, the right front caliper was frozen. Discovered the pads were almost gone and the left front pads were barely worn. Replaced both front calipers, brake lines, bled the system and all is perfect now.

Can't complain. 167k on the stock calipers with annual brake fluid flushes.
