Lift Kit Help

So I have a 99 Silverado 2500. If you know 99's you know they switched body styles mid year so the 2500's have some 99 parts and some 2000 parts. I've gone to several companies and installers for a lift kit and each time they claim they can get a lift only to find out the manufacturer says there isn't one. My question is if anyone has successfully put together a lift kit for one of these trucks? If so I'd love to hear from you and what parts did you have to pull from each year kit to make it work. Thanks.

Do you have leaf springs?

Yes. Torsion bars up front which I bumped a little for leveling.

With leaf springs you could go all out and buy lifted ones but that's quite a chunk of change. On my old 70's AMC Jeep CJ-5, I used one leaf spring that gave me almost 3" of lift and didn't cost lots of money, but that was a solid Dana 30 front axle with manual locking hubs, something not seen much, if at all these says. Not sure if they'd work with a torsion bar vehicle at all, but it's possible.
