Cv axle angle to bad?
Hello, I am new to the forums and have come here to hopefully get a question answered that I have been trying to find out. The situation is that I have a 2010 Silverado 4x4 ex cab and put a 3.5 inch "leveling" kit on it. The reason it's in quotes is I bought a .5 inch and a 3 inch spacer on the strut. The .5 on bottom 3 on top. One issue is the upper control arms are resting on the bump stops and I will be getting RC uca's soon. The main question is about the cv axle angles. I'm not sure how to measure the angle so just took a protractor and put at the middle of the top of the joint and made the protractor line up with the axle and it came out to 15 or 16 degrees. Assuming this is the correct way to find the angles, is the degree to hard on the joints to make them wear premature?
Also, does anyone know the angle of a stock cv axle on a 07-13 Silverado
Thanks
All help is appreciated

Anything over 2.5" leveling kit will give you horrible angles, I'm willin to bet they're in a bind just sitting there. I'd be lookin to get a diff drop from eBay. I believe they make 1" diff drops designed for your setup. Also good call on the rcx upper control arms

Thanks. I'm gonna take the 3 out and put the 2 back in to make it 2.5 and if the front sits lower than the back I'll pull the blocks. Not feeling like replacing prematurely worn out parts
