Pcv valve location/replacement?

Got my oil changed today on my 2012 silverado LT 133k miles. Pretty sure its the 5.3 and it will drop cylinders for "economy mode" or whatever....drops to v4 i believe.... and they said there was barely any oil on the dip stick. im not leaking oil and im not seeing any blue smoke...stays around 40 oil pressure. Drops a little but when idling maybe to 35. Increases to 45 when i accelerate. From what i read, it could be a pcv valve....but...i went to the part store to buy 1 and they said i dont have one on the truck...they mentioned maybe i need a new valve cover...so do i have to replace the valve cover cuz the pcv is built into it? Or is the pcv in a spot where i cant see it on the outside of the motor?

Drivers side valve cover towards the firewall. just pull or work it out.pet a little oil on the outside and install. Might need the grommet if it's hard. Your rig has cylinder deactivation. Cuts out four cylinders. Not my favorite idea. The parts guys are full of s**t . Don't let your oil ever get low.

i wasnt to thrilled about it until i seen i was getting 24mpg...but the idea of some parts wearing more than others isnt good. Buddy says it costs 500 to delete that out

It looks like it is built into the valve cover?

Before i break it by trying to pull it out, is this the one thats built into the cover?

Would this be the issue of why i was low on oil? No leaks. No blue smoke. Clueless of why i was low.

Could well be. I have read that's why Chevy got rid of the old PCV valve.
