Window doesn't open
 

I have 2013 1500 LTZ extended cab. I replaced the right rear window regulator. All is good there. But I had to do it in a hurry as rain was forecasted for like three days straight. In trying to remove the inside handle, I could not get the little round metal pin to release the handle. I dug at it for as long as I could until it started clouding over. Out of frustration I forcefully removed the plastic handle. Did my repair and just got it put back together as it started to rain. The next time I went to open that door, it wouldn't. Not from the door jamb handle or the inside handle. Took it all apart. Put it back together and it worked several times. Drove the truck as normal. Went to try that door and it wouldn't open again. So I took it all back apart. Put everything back together again. And as before, drove it and it will not open by either handle again. Works several times opening and closing by both handles after putting it all back together. But not after one drive. Any idea as to what I am missing? I hope someone has an answer.
