Help appreciated. Anyone seen this/ solved this? Rear end clunk on 2016 Silverado.

Keep in mind you can hear this much louder that the gopro sounds and definitely in the cab--

This is a 2016 Chevrolet pickup with a loud clunk in the rear end. Dealer said nothing they could do, they've have similar issues and GM engineer says it is normal, so they did no work and I filed a BBB autoline complaint (joke, don't bother with that one) and they said they could hear it on sharp turns, but it didn't substantially hurt the value of my vehicle and that I'd turned down Chevy to send a field engineer out to look. This is true... however, the offer was made after I complained to the BBB and my last repair order says their engineer had been out for this problem and it was normal after they get a few miles on them. The service writer also told me they had the pickup so long GM wound up making payments for the owner. Well, since I'm still making new pickup payments on a truck that's under warranty and has a "normal" clunk after a few miles, I proceeded with my claim. Note, the dealership shot half a tube of grease in my rear leaf springs to quiet this noise. Not exactly something I see on the lot with the other normal trucks. Anyway, beware if you buy a Chevy. Check the forums for their pickups. This is a known issue and they will not make it right.

Nope, not normal. I had a similar issue with a GM product some years ago. An early version of the limited slip differential. Made a horrendous noise when turning. GM never resolved the issue and it did indeed have an impact on the value of the vehicle.
