Default 03 Astro INTERMITTANTLY won't stay running.

My problem isn't with "stalling" per se, which is addressed plenty in forums... but, my 2003 Astro literally won't stay running about every third or fourth time I start it.

I'm aware of all conditions.... air temp (I'm in the NE we've had a LOT of cold here recently, but some 50-degree days), wet, dry, heater on/off... nothing seems to matter.

SOMETIMES it cranks right up and drives fine. Other times it revs and dies. When it DOES stay running, I might drive it for an hour, come out of the store, and it WON'T stay on (I have to keep one foot on the gas to maintain an idle).

It doesn't matter how long I leave it sit. Sometimes five mins, sometimes all night - it just runs or doesn't run whenever it pleases.

I just paid a dealer to look at a battery-drain problem. They found it was my radio, and charged me $350 for the diagnosis and removal of the radio. They THOUGHT it'd help my not-running problem, but after I left the lot, guess what?

Any ideas????

Thanks
