95 astro intake manifold
 

if the body style is the same is there any differences in the coolant passages in the intake manifolds from year to year? I broke my manifold replacing the thermostat, and replaced it with a junkyard one. I am having coolant pressure issues. fills my overflow bottle up and spills out onto the ground. the upper and lower radiator hoses are hard. I have to question whether I installed the intake gaskets on in the correct way. but ther is a small difference in the new manifold. the back corner of original manifold is tapped to hold a small valve and the new one is not. W motor cpi injection

1995 is a weird year. The engine and controls are more like the early vans, while the body is like the older vans. My quick research shows that the intake manifold is different between 95 and later years. You should be able to use a intake manifold from 92 to 95. You can also pull from S10s/S15s/Blazers/Jimmys from the same year range, which should make pulling the part in the junk yard easier.
