I need help with my astro.

I have a 1992 astro 6 cyl. 4.3 L. when the starter quit I changed it and the battery went dead a couple of days after. got new bat. same happened. I went to OReily to get checked and alternator needed to be changed. Did that and the same happened. Back to Orilley's and test result was the voltage regulator wasn't working. got new alternator. had them bench test it and was ok. I put in the van and nothing changed.. I still have the battery going out of charge and having to charge daily. please help.

Something is draining your battery down, and it could be something simple. Had my K-1500 with a dead battery. It was the overhead lamp under the hood that was
staying on. Still have it unplugged cause I always carry a flashlight and didn't feel like fixing it and most vehicles I've had never came with them. No big deal.

thanks for the data but that's not the problem. I have checked it. is there a tool or scanner that will help me find the problem?

Not that I am aware of. Id pull the POS wire off the Alt overnight myself. Could be the alternator or the wiring in the loop.
