Chevrolet Tahoe 2001 LS replace stereo wire hardness help
 

Ok I have a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LS with on-star but no Bose speakers and the factory sub woofer. I want to replace the factory stereo with a after market stereo I bought a Metra Electronics IBR-WHGM2 GM WIRE HARNESS to use because it says it was compatible with my system. My questions are this the right one or do I need something else. I do not use on-star never have, but will this affect anything on the car ?
