Dual Alternator Bracket

Hello! I am trying to install an additional alternator in my son's 1997 GMC Suburban (V8 5.7L). He currently has an ad244 350 high output alternator in it, but wants to add a second ad244 350 amp alt. I have seen a few companies selling dual alternator bracket for $500 plus. IMHO thats seems pricey.

So my question is, does anyone know of a machine shop that can build one or know where to get some schematics. thx in advance!

braket's

for the amount of work that has to go in the bracket's to get a mice kit that fit's ,that is not out of the ball park . i made my own but i had a welder and the ability at the time and i made them to fit .
my experance with kit's is you get what you pay for .if you have to buy them do your research first .some time's you can just add the correct amp size alt with out going with duals check out these guy's to give you another option !

Thanks old dog. He will need about 600 to 700 amps becuase thats what his lights, supped up stereo, etc will require. SO we need a dual alternator set-up. To bad you do not live in Iowa.
