drain brake fluid
whats the easiest way to drain out the brake system. i think that there is power steering fluid mixed in with my brake fluid, not 100% how that happen but either way better safe then sorry

nothing complicated. so don't afraid. you need vacuum brake bleeder, cotton cloth and drain pan.
locate the brake master cylinder inside the engine hood. wipe the dirt, grit or foreign particles from around the master cylinder cap before open it (this you can say as precaustion because if dirt particles mixes with fluid it can damage the entire system and parts as well). open the cap and with the help of vacuum bleeder suck the fluid and drain it out from the system. |
make sure to go to each wheel so you don't leave out a section

As designed, this vacuum pump will work for vacuum bleeding brake systems (not a/c). The small diameter brake lines use very little fluid while the total brake system volume is about one pint. Things were rusted up pretty badly on my 2008 when I recently replaced pads and rotors all the way around at ~70K miles.
