Not sure about something about my avalanche
 

I have a 2007 Lt avalanche and only my driver sideview mirror turns dark when its night time. Is it supposed to be like that or are both sideview mirrors supposed to get dark.

I checked through your owners manual and on page 154 there is a section called Automatic Dimming which states:

The driver’s outside mirror will adjust for the glare

of the headlamps behind you.

all three of your mirrors are monochromatic, they should all adjust to rear headlight glare.

My 07 has monochromatic mirrors and only the rear view and drivers side mirror adjust for glare. The Pass side does not.

That is correct avgas, Drivers Outside Door Mirror and Inside Rear View Mirror, no auto dimming Passenger Outside Door Mirror.I have an LTZ.
