1989 corsica gas problems

hey guys. After 3+ years of sitting I got this old Corsica (which was my first car so don't laugh) running again. It has half a tank of old gas in it still and ran somewhat decent and was able to pull into my garage. Anyways i went to fire it up it ran, started missing, and now wont fire. I know, I know, I should of taken preventative steps, but anyway fuel delivery issues... any steps you guys recommend to get this fuel out/treated? I was already planning to change the fuel filter.

I'd remove the tank, and get rid of the old gas, probably find some rust in the tank.
