Yup, it's been done — and it sounds like a hoot. It's not actually as out there as it seems either, as instant torque and a low center of gravity make for surprisingly good acceleration and snappy handling. For a full explanation of some of this green machine's less talked about qualities, check out Nolan's full write up here. This event sounds like it was a complete blast! Any Bolt owners thinking about hitting the autocross?

It'll be interesting to see if companies ever start offering serious performance tunes for electric cars... It was cool to see what Vonnen Performance is doing with Porsches.
